Canadian Plastics Group LTD
With our established history of over 30 years in business, CPG has few competitors with the same commitment to quality, delivery, service, and fair pricing, while still maintaining our competitive edge. CPG is a custom manufacturer of components and assemblies, specializing in non-metallic materials. Our core competencies include vacuum thermoforming, precision machining, die cutting, acrylic fabrication, and assembly. CPG is a major supplier of manufactured product to the Aerospace Industry, but our customer base is quite diverse with key accounts from the Health Care, Industrial, Telecommunications, and Point of Purchase Display markets. At the core of our manufacturing activities is our vacuum-forming department. CPG has several machines with capacity ranging from 2’ x 3’ all the way up to 6’ x 10’. We are able to successfully manage ongoing very high volume projects, and we also approach low volume work and prototyping enthusiastically. Some common vacuum formed parts we make are interior panels, shrouds, covers, trays, and POP display items. We are able to work with many exotic materials for specialized applications, and of course with standard materials such as ABS, styrene, polyethylene, and polycarbonate. CPG has complete machine shop capabilities including both CNC and conventional equipment. Our CNC department consists of several CNC Lathes and 3-axis and 5-axis milling machines used for automated trimming as well as complete manufacturing of precision components. We are capable of meeting very tight tolerances and can machine virtually any component from both exotic materials as well as standards such as UHMW, Delrin, Phenolic, Nylon, and Teflon (PTFE). Make use of CPG’s die cutting capabilities for manufacturing seals, gaskets, friction pads, or any other application of rubber and rubber-hybrid materials. CPG stocks many types of both standard and exotic rubber materials used to manufacture components supplied on their own, or combined with plastic parts as assemblies.Whenever possible, CPG supplies our customers with complete assemblies. In an industry focussed on vendor consolidation, we ensure that our level of service achieves the goal of minimizing operations and processes performed by our customers or other subcontractors on components supplied by CPG. Our capabilities include plastic-to-plastic, plastic-to-metal, plastic-to-rubber, and of course any hardware and painting / processing required. CPG has extensive experience in plastic fabrication. From tight-tolerance machined items to large acrylic displays, from heat strip bending to complex fabrication, CPG can meet your requirements and help you achieve the effect you're looking for. Skilled professionals with years of experience perform all bonding and polishing in our dust-free clean room. CPG also offers annealing capacity for other fabricators. Make use of our 5 annealing ovens for parts destined for use with cosmetics or other chemicals. One of the more recent additions to our manufacturing capabilities is rapid prototyping. CPG has the ability to create ABS prototypes directly from electronic data. Limited only by the size of the part, CPG can turn prototypes around within a day for much less than you might think. Popular applications for this service are for engineering review, product presentations, fit testing, or as injection molding prototypes prior to tool development.CPG is privately owned, non-unionized, and our primary manufacturing facility is located in Newmarket Ontario, just north of Toronto.
