CETL
The CETL is a contract research laboratory operated by the college of engineering and science at Clemson University. We have assisted the US Dept. of Energy and our industrial clients since 1995 by building, operating and evaluating mechanical and chemical processing equipment. To accomplish this task we have installed a machine shop, a small foundry and a comprehensive collection of rapid prototyping equipment. Augmenting these capabilities are 3D scanning for reverse engineering and SolidWorks for design and analysis.
WHAT WE DO
The CETL focuses on design, construction and evaluation of mechanical and chemical processing systems. For nearly 15 years the CETL has helped government and industry by conducting projects ranging from modeling studies and engineering analyses to setting up and operating full-size processes.
OTHER NEAT CAPABILITIES
NEWS SHORTCUTS Process development is our claim to fame, but we've also got a lot of very useful Supporting Technologies to help with design, engineering and product development. If you're interested in finding out how these Supporting Technologies can work for you, contact us with your questions or Statement of Needs.
