Big Dog Manufacturing
Big Dog Manufacturing was started in October of 1997 in a small (about 500 square feet) space in Portland, Oregon. The first machines were a manual lathe and a small vertical CNC mill. We expanded at that site by putting a container in the parking lot for material storage, and the cutoff saw.
In April of 1998 we moved to a 7,000 square foot building in Milwaukie. We added several new machines, including three CNC machining centers and a CNC lathe.
In October of 2001, we outgrew that site and moved again. The machining, engineering, and fabrication were moved to separate locations, which has proven to be a good decision for all divisions.
Big Dog Manufacturing is a Job Shop and Engineering facility with Machine Shop and Fabrication capabilities. We do Prototype and Production for several Industries including Laser, Medical, Dental, Computer, Plastics, Off-Road and Tooling for the Wood Working Industry. We give our customers:

Sawing: Up to 16" diameter or 20" flat stock production sawing
