"Excellent communication. Fulfilled lead time promise. Great prices. Failed to follow two notes on prints. However, they were more than willing to re-make the parts for free. The parts were still serviceable so I told them not to worry about it. They were more than willing to give me the already-made-and-still-serviceable parts for free. I thought that was sincere and genuine customer service. I told them not to worry about it... but appreciated the sentiment very much.When Americans think of things made in China, they think of super-cheap dollar store quality items. That is, for sure, one market and industry of mass manufacturing of can openers, trinkets and such... But this company (Allied Machining) has nothing to do with that racket. Lillian Mao and John Wang are very consistent in getting back to you, asking questions, keeping on schedule and providing excellent customer service. The operation that John is running in China is top notch and dimensionally accurate. They work quickly and move a lot of prints through their shop, so I recommend communicating very clearly on blueprints those dimensions/notes/features that are critical. Good communication like this helps to prevent headache, rework, and lost time. I'd recommend trying them out. "

"Part was delivered quickly initially, but out of spec. The back and forth about getting it replaced and the actual replacement took some time, but part was in-spec the second time around. They seem to have had a hard time hitting a 0.002" tolerance band on the OD of a hard-turned (or ground) tool. Good communication. Part was made in China."
