APS Plastics is a contract machining/job-shop standing at the fore front of this industry, offering high quality precision machining services on a small quantity or production run basis. Our modern shop includes CNC turning and milling centers capable of holding the closest tolerances. We take great pride in our ability to provide machined components of outstanding appearance and quality, which will compliment the presentation of any OEM’s products. We use fully documented Quality Control manuals and procedures, and back this up with ongoing in-process inspection. We also demand from our personnel a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This multi-pronged approach ensures that components are “to the print” when they reach final inspection, thereby avoiding delivery delays due to rework.

APS Plastics places a high degree of emphasis on Quality Assurance for its products. Our inspection processes for our in house manufactured components follow the best practices for machine shops. First article, in process and final inspections are carried out using some of the most recently available technology as well as the traditional and time tested equipment and methods.

Inspection Equipment includes: Horizon Metrology –OPTIV 3 Optical Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) , Mitutoyo PH-A14 Comparator, Wilson Rockwell Tester , Mitutoyo SJ-201 Profilometer , Sunnen Precision Hole Gauges PG-810 & Pg-700 , Mitutoyo Linear Height 600 and a full complement of precision micrometers, calipers, surface plates, digital height indicators, standard plug, ring & thread gauges.
