ACTIVE SPACE TECHNOLOGIES GMBH
Active Space Technologies GmbH is the German node of a European company with branches already active in Portugal and the Netherlands.
Active Space Technologies GmbH has been founded in 2007 from a former member of the German Space Centre (DLR), as an indipendent German company, in collaboration with Active Space Technologies Lda in Portugal. Thanks to many years of experience in the space business, the company can offer design services in the thermal and structural engineering and project management as well as support and manage in technology transfer projects, design and optimization, conversion of thermal models, definition of requirements and interfaces, test procedures, support and correlation.
These services are based on Computer Aided Modulation like thermal and radiation analyses, with ESARAD and ESATAN thermal modeling suite.
These kinds of virtualized design is customary in the space business and, when applied to more "down to earth", industrial sectors can be bring there as well its enormous advantages: strongly optimized design, rapid response to changes in assumptions and conditions, reduced time to market and the increased efficiency given by the complete comprehension of the processes.
Moreover, thanks to a large European network of SME partners, Active Space Technologies can also offer its clients the realization of the designed system, drawing translation to CAD models low cost, mechanical design solutions and rapid prototyping with competitive prices and highest quality.
The company starts from the space sector but has a huge interest in expanding outside it, toward other industrial sectors. In order to do so, a part of its budget is already invested into the development of the necessary know how. So we can offer our expertise thanks to the wide range of engineering backgrounds of the staff which provide a multidisciplinary approach to your project.
Active Space Technologies GmbH, through its founder, has almost a decade of successful experiences in multi partner and international projects. For the past five years, multiple R&D projects has been completed, all of them in multinational and multitype configuration with industries, universities and research centers pooled together and brought to project completion.
