ACME Aerospace has over 30 years experience in aircraft manufacturing, including projects with Northrop Grumman Corp., McDonnell Douglas, Rohr Inc., General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin. ACME specializes in the programming and manufacturing of simple clips and brackets to complex F-35 bulkheads.

Capabilities NC Programming

Among the many NC Programming tools we’ve experienced, CATIA has been our choice for the past 23 years. We are adept at creating NC programs ranging from small simple brackets to complex F-35 bulkheads. We consider our NC programming skills to be second to none.  In addition, we have extensive modeling experience.  We have the capability of transforming hand-drawn blueprints and customer-provided surface data into detailed 3-D models.

Multi-Axis CNC Machining

Our highly experienced machinists not only transform raw metal into precision parts, they also produce them faster, better and cheaper using our customized tooling system. This system reduces setup time by allowing parts to be produced on any of our machines eliminating costly setup time.

Vericut

ACME Aerospace advocates Vericut and has used it for 19 years.  It has completely eliminated the need for wasting valuable machine time creating manual prove-outs.  Vericut helps to eliminate machine collisions, inefficiencies and common mistakes such as excess material and undercuts.  Nearly 100% of our first run tape proofs are accepted with changes only involving speed/feed adjustments.  

General Systems Experience

ACME Aerospace has been contracted by other shops to install CATIA and Vericut as well as rewriting their post-processors.
