Access Precision Machining Ltd is located in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, one of the most beautiful places in Canada. Our employee’s love living here and that contributes to our extremely low staff turnover. We are about centrally located between Calgary and Vancouver and just a few hours more to Edmonton and Prince George. This gives us greater access to markets for sales and material purchases. With his extensive experience in machining and business in oil and gas, forestry, mining, automotive and other industries, Mike knows what Customers want, and he knows what Customers he wants. Right from the start the Mike's goal was to be able to work for clients that required more demanding CNC machine shop services. Accordingly he built a team of skilled CNC machinists and apprentices and chose to use Mazak machine centers with the latest technology. Machine Centers equipped with time saving features such as live tooling, pallet changers, tool measures, and touch probes. Skilled Machinists that QC the parts at every step of the process. Skilled Machinists capable of rapidly setting up and programming for a new set of parts which allows us to do small runs of complicated parts efficiently. And extensive set of QC equipment including a Mitutoyo CMM, Optical Comparator, AmScope, Hardness Testers, Surface Testers, Thread Gauges, Micrometers and related measuring tools. Skills for creating jig and fixtures to hold the most complicated of shapes. A huge inventory of tooling for our size of shop that allows us to keep the work flowing.
